Hearing Officer Announcement

Nevada Department of Education is accepting resumes from attorneys to serve as a part-time hearing officer to conduct hearings to resolve educational disputes between parents of a child with disabilities and districts. The position is on an "as needed" basis and the pay rate is up to $130.00 per hour. The deadline for submitting resumes is August 22, 2011. Please contact bchase@doe.nv.gov for additional information regarding mandatory and preferred qualifications, including conflict of interest exclusions, and responsibilities, and/or to submit a resume.
