Public Comment: Language Access Plan
The Nevada Department of Education invites constituents to review and provide feedback on its draft 2026 Language Access Plan.
The Department is updating its plan, as required every two years under Senate Bill 318 (2021). The plan outlines how the Department provides meaningful access to information and services for individuals with limited English proficiency.
The public comment period is open from June 4 – July 3, 2026. Feedback will be used to inform revisions to the plan prior to final submission.
The Nevada Department of Education intends to take all reasonable steps to provide individuals with meaningful access to its services and programs. The Department seeks to reduce barriers by increasing its capacity to deliver services to constituents in their preferred languages.
