Economics Resources

Colonial Economy Game: The game helps high school students understand not only the economics of the Thirteen Colonies, but the colonial regions, and the products and occupations of the colonists.

EcEdWeb: This site on teaching economics is developed and maintained by a professor of Economics at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

EconEdLink: This site offers hundreds of free economics lessons for all grade levels.

Economics Lesson Plans: from the Economics Department at UNR. The lessons were created by an economics teacher and designed to meet Nevada State Economics Standards.

Foundation for Teaching Economics. FTE offers free workshops for high school educators and students; as well as resources, activities, and lesson plans for teaching economics.

Nevada Stock Market Simulation. The Stock Market Simulation is a tool that teachers can use to help instruct their students in economics, finance, current events, math, social studies, and technology.

The National Council of Economic Educators searchable database of economics lessons and activities.
