Nevada Promising Practices
The Office of Parental Involvement and Family Engagement (PIFE),District PIFE Liaisons, and the Advisory Council for Family Engagement areexcited to publish its first collection of Family Engagement PromisingPractices. The PIFE Office sought responses from schools, districts, andcommunity organizations with the intention of highlighting promising practicesin the area of family engagement that are occurring throughout the state ofNevada.
This publication is organized to show how each promising practice aligns withthe National PTA Standards forFamily-School Partnerships, adopted by the Nevada State Board of Education in 2015 as apart of Nevada’s Policy on ParentalInvolvement and Family Engagement. Please note, that a promising practice may meet more than onestandard.
