Overview

Maintains the current $100 million in support of existing Zoom programs and appropriates additional State General Fund of $42 million over the biennium. This investment will fund roughly 20 middle and high schools as services are expanded for English learners and long-term English learners in middle and high schools across the state. The expansion of the last biennium’s pilot to middle and high school will continue to be monitored closely to evaluate effective programs and cost of service to inform the state’s transition to funding “weights”.
