CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Education southern office will have a new home at 2080 East Flamingo Road beginning May 27.

“The biggest benefit of the move is that we will be in a much more central, more accessible location in the Las Vegas valley,” said Jhone Ebert, Superintendent of Public Instruction. “There is also an added benefit of being very close to the Clark County School District offices. Our new location will also afford our staff a more modern and functional work environment.”

The current Nevada Department of Education offices on South Maryland Parkway will remain open with limited service until the transition to the current offices on East Flamingo is completed. The next State Board of Education meeting will be held in the new office on June 6.
