CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Education’s Northern Nevada Educator Licensure Division is moving to the Department’s main office, located at 700 East Fifth Street in Carson City, on April 1.

“We believe this move will improve our customer service in Northern Nevada,” said Jason Dietrich, Interim Deputy Superintendent. “It will also better connect our staff with the rest of the Nevada Department of Education.”

Educator Licensure is available online. In addition to being able to conduct licensure transactions online, applicants can also find out where they are in the process through text and email messaging. While everything regarding educator licensure can be done online, the Nevada Department of Education maintains offices in Carson City and Las Vegas where applicants can continue to walk in or call for assistance.
