The Advisory Committee on the Safety and Well Being of Public School Staff

Overview

The Advisory Committee on the Safety and Well-Being of Public School Staff was created by AB 72 in the 2023 Legislative session. This bill was signed into law by Governor Lombardo on June 9th 2023. The advisory committee is charged with reviewing, investigating and making recommendations any issue relating to the safety and well-being of public school staff, including provisions of law or regulations that affect the safety and well-being of public school staff and the consistent implementation of discipline of pupils. The committee shall on or before June 30th, 2025 make recommendations to the Legislature, any offices of this State and any Political Subdivisions of the State of Nevada. The advisory committee expires by limitation on June 30th, 2025.
