Employability Skills for Career Readiness
The state Employability Skills for Career Readiness standards are designed to be included in all programs of study. Employability skills, often referred to as “soft skills,” have for many years been a recognizable component of the standards and curriculum in career and technical education programs. The standards are designed to ensure students graduate high school properly prepared with skills employers prioritize as the most important. Instruction on all twenty-one standards must be part of each course of the CTE program. (Paragraph (d) of Subsection 1 of NAC 389.800)
