Nevada Ready! State Pre-K
Nevada Ready! State Pre-K (NR!PK) is a state funded pre-kindergarten program designed to support 4-year-old children (must turn 4 on or before August 1st) by providing high-quality learning environments and experiences. These full day learning options are offered in both school district classrooms and community-based childcare centers throughout the state of Nevada. Families must meet the income eligibly which consists of a household income of 200% below the federal poverty level (FPL). Access FPL by clicking the following link here. NR!PK implements high-quality practices through a variety of program requirements including, but not limited to: highly qualified teachers, developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessments and inclusive learning environments. All NR!PK classrooms participate in Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) which is an evaluation tool intended to develop practices that best support children.
