The Nevada Department of Education will simplify and align school improvement into one system, building district capacity using a common framework, and define strong Tier I expectations, then districts will be able to support and scale effective practices across schools, so that student outcomes improve through consistent, high-quality instruction and timely intervention.

The Nevada Department of Education's (NDE) School Improvement Team (SIT) is a dedicated group of professionals with extensive experience across the educational field. Our team includes specialists in Elementary and Secondary Education, Higher Education, English Learner (EL) Services, Gifted and Talented Education, school funding, grant administration, and more. With a shared commitment to excellence, it is our privilege to work alongside Nevada's educators and leaders at all levels to support meaningful and sustained school improvement.
