The School Improvement Team works alongside schools and districts to provide collaborative, customized support based on demonstrated needs. We believe all students should have access to personalized, high-quality instruction, effective teaching, and environments that promote both learning and well-being. We partner with local school improvement teams to set clear, realistic goals, track progress transparently, and find creative, practical solutions driven by data, built on trust, and always focused on what’s best for students.

The Nevada Department of Education's (NDE) School Improvement Team (SIT) is a dedicated group of professionals with extensive experience across the educational field. Our team includes specialists in Elementary and Secondary Education, Higher Education, English Learner (EL) Services, Gifted and Talented Education, school funding, grant administration, and more. With a shared commitment to excellence, it is our privilege to work alongside Nevada's educators and leaders at all levels to support meaningful and sustained school improvement.
