The Career Pathways Oversight Committee (CPOC) was established in accordance with sec. 2.4 of AB 428 (2023) and reauthorized in sec. 22-24 of AB 462 (2025). The Committee shall: institute metrics to measure the short- and long-term success of the career pathways programs; evaluate the progress and success of the career pathways programs; evaluate programs for dual credit provided by institutions within the Nevada System of Higher Education; report the results of the evaluations conducted to the State Board and the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Education on or before June 1 of each year; and identify the agency of this State with jurisdiction and expertise necessary to assist in the oversight and implementation of a career pathways program.
