The college I attended has closed. How can I get a copy of my transcripts?
The Nevada Department of Education is only responsible for K-12 public education. The Commission is the repository for records for higher education institutions that have closed.

How do I make a complaint about a Higher Education institution?
The Nevada Department of Education is only responsible for public education for the grades K-12 and we are not able to assist you with matters concerning higher education. For public institutions, please contact the Administration at the college to assist you or the school's Board of Trustees. Also, the Board of Regents for the Nevada System of Higher Education may be able to give you some guidance. For non-public postsecondary institutions, please refer to your student catalog for references regarding the published grievance policy. If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may file a complaint with the Commission on Postsecondary Education through their website at the link above.
I am a Veteran. What higher education options do I have in Nevada?
You may want to inquire at the Commission of Postsecondary Education: Kelly Wuest, Administrator, kdwuest@detr.nv.gov. In addition, you may review the Department of Veteran's Affairs Benefits site to review approved programs within our state.
How do I make a complaint regarding a post secondary trade school?
Please direct your inquiry to the Commission on Postsecondary Education at 702-486-7330, CPE (nv.gov). To contact the Commission by email, the last tab "Contact" then "Commission Staff". Please feel free to update with your own wording. However, our website due to transitions has been updated. The Nevada Department of Education is only responsible for K-12 public education.
