ARL Provider Information
Per NAC 391.461 any provider which wishes to offer a program for an alternative route for the licensure of teachers and/or administrators must apply to the Commission on Professional Standards on a form prescribed by the Department of Education for approval to become a qualified provider.
ARL Provider Initial Applications:
- Complete the Initial Application
- Submit electronically to COPS@doe.nv.gov.
- Once an initial application has been submitted, the ARL Review Team will evaluate the submission and contact the provider if they have questions.
- When the Review Team has completed the evaluation of the program, it will be placed on the COPS agenda and notice will be sent to the provider.
- Please note: During the Commission meeting on July 18, 2019, the Commission passed a temporary moratorium on all applications from out-of-state institutions.
For ARL Provider Renewal Applications:
- Complete the Renewal Application.
- Submit electronically to COPS@doe.nv.gov
- Application for renewal will be heard at a future COPS meeting and notice will be sent to provider.
ARL Provider Modification Request Forms:
- If the modifications are non-substantive such as course title changes or course substitutions:
- Complete the Modification Form
- Submit electronically to COPS@doe.nv.gov.
- Non-substantive modification requests will be heard at a future COPS meeting and notice will be sent to provider.
- If the modifications are substantive:
- The provider must follow the initial application process above.
