Superintendent's Principal Advisory Cabinet (PAC)

Overview

Overview In November of 2020, the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) launched the Superintendent’s Principal Advisory Cabinet (PAC).The PAC is made up of school building administrators who represent school districts across Nevada, including urban, suburban, rural, and charter. With the goal of elevating the voices of school building administrators within the Department and promoting the work of the Department’s across the state, PAC members conduct research and engage in robust conversations with NDE leadership, providing input on initiatives and topics such as the State Improvement Plan (STIP), student achievement, and the impact of COVID-19.

As a key stakeholder group, the PAC's primary purpose is to provide feedback to NDE regarding programs and opportunities. Members provide insight from their experiences and gather feedback from peers to help inform the Department. Members also expand their understanding of the Department’s work and organization, as well as our mission, vision, and goals. The work of the PAC lives in 2020 STIP Goal 2 and works toward achieving every goal across the 2020 STIP.
