Federal law requires that Nevada’s application to receive funding under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education (IDEA) must be circulated throughout the state for a sixty-day period of time prior to final submission to the U.S. Department of Education. Within the sixty-day circulation period, federal law also requires that the state establish a thirty-day period within which it will accept comment from the public concerning the application. In accordance with this requirement, comment from the public will be accepted from April 1 through April 30, 2024, by submitting this comment form or by mailing correspondence to Ms. Julie A.
