The Nevada Department of Education, in partnership with the Education Service Center (ESC), is launching a multi-year reporting efficiency project, seeking to return meaningful hours back to Nevada’s educators and system leaders.

Of the roughly 400 reports currently required by the state, the Nevada Department of Education and its partners have identified 89 reports (22 percent) for near-term elimination, modification, or consolidation.

The project is authorized under Senate Bill 460 (2025) and operationalized by Regulation Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB) File No. R080-25.
