Established in 2025, the Education Service Center (ESC) is an independent support hub dedicated to helping Nevada’s school districts and charter schools thrive. Our primary goal is to boost student achievement and streamline school operations, with a special focus on uplifting underperforming schools.

Collaboration, Not Compliance. While the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) oversees regulations and enforces state laws, the ESC is built entirely for partnership. We act as a bridge between the state and local schools. Though the NDE serves as our administrative host, we operate independently under our own Board of Directors and Interim Executive Director, Dr. Steve Canavero.
